Bassam is Upbound’s Founder and CEO. Prior to Upbound, he was the CTO and Co-Founder of Symform and then CTO of their acquirer, Quantum. Bassam’s decades of experience further manifested very successful open source CNCF projects like Rook and Crossplane.

Sumbry is the Vice President of Engineering at Upbound. He has over two decades of experience working in the platform, infrastructure, and reliability engineering space at companies like AirBnB, Uber, and Twilio. Upbound is Sumbry's seventh startup as he has a tendency to join amazing companies that have strong products & technologies used to solve interesting problems.
