Bassam is Upbound’s Founder and CEO. Prior to Upbound, he was the CTO and Co-Founder of Symform and then CTO of their acquirer, Quantum. Bassam’s decades of experience further manifested very successful open source CNCF projects like Rook and Crossplane.

Sarah is the Chief Revenue Officer at Upbound. She has 15+ years of enterprise sales, go-to-market (GTM), and business development experience in the cloud and AI/ML spaces. Prior to Upbound, she was the Global Leader of GTM for the Media & Entertainment, Games, and Sports business at Amazon Web Services, and previously the Worldwide Head of Business Development for Applied AI at AWS.

He has over two decades of experience working in the platform, infrastructure, and reliability engineering space at companies like AirBnB, Uber, and Twilio. Upbound is Sumbry's seventh startup as he has a tendency to join amazing companies that have strong products & technologies used to solve interesting problems.
